  1. Help - Filemanager and listing textfiles                               26.05.92

  3. You can select a file using the arrow-keys or ⌠<PgUp>⌡,
  4. ⌠<PgDn>⌡, ⌠<Home>⌡ and ⌠<End>⌡.
  5.  
  6. This actual file is marked in inverse video.
  7.  
  8. Below the filewindow the ≤attributes≥ of the actual file are shown:
  9.                     ⌠R⌡   -  ReadOnly,
  10.                     ⌠H⌡   -  Hidden,
  11.                     ⌠S⌡   -  System,
  12.                     ⌠V⌡   -  VolumeId,
  13.                     ⌠D⌡   -  Directory  and
  14.                     ⌠A⌡   -  Archive.
  15.               ⌠+⌡  -  corresponding bit is set,
  16.               ⌠-⌡  -  corresponding bit is not set.

  18. The ≤time of the last modification≥ of the actual file and the
  19. ≤filesize in bytes≥ are shown behind.

  22. You can also move through the directory box by using first
  23. letter selection with the ⌠Alt-⌡Key. For example press ⌠Alt-B⌡
  24. for selecting the first file name beginning with the
  25. letter "B".

  28. ≤Listing Textfiles:≥
  29. If the actual file is not a directory you can view (list) this
  30. file by pressing ⌠<#017#196#217>⌡ if it is a textfile.

  33. ≤Change Directory:≥
  34. If it is a directory-entry (i.e. "..") and you press ⌠<#017#196#217>⌡
  35. this new directory is displayed.

  38. ≤Other commands:≥
  39.  ⌠L⌡       : Log into the root-directory of another drive.
  40.  ⌠M⌡       : Make a directory.
  41.  ⌠C⌡       : Copy the actual file.
  42.  ⌠R⌡       : Rename the actual file.
  43.  ⌠F⌡       : Change the filemask (i.e. "*.bat" or "AB?.*") to
  44.            show only a subset of files.
  45.  ⌠<Del>⌡   : Delete the actual file
  46.  o.⌠D⌡       (even if it is a (empty!) directory).

  49. ≤Sorting of files:≥
  50.  ⌠F2⌡      : Sort for Filenames (Default),
  51.  ⌠F3⌡      : Sort for File Extensions,
  52.  ⌠F4⌡      : Sort for Filesize  and
  53.  ⌠F5⌡      : Sort for Date and Time of last modification.

  57.  ⌠T⌡       : Tag the actual file
  58.  ⌠U⌡       : Untag this file
  59.  ⌠S⌡       : Switch tht tag status
  60.  ⌠Ctrl-T⌡  : Tag all files.

  65.  ⌠Ctrl-D⌡  : Delete all tagged files.
  66.  ⌠Ctrl-C⌡  : Copy all tagged files.
